By downloading, installing, or using the Soundwise app ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.

2. Description of Service

Soundwise is a language learning application designed to help users improve their English pronunciation perception through neuroscience-backed listening drills with minimal pairs.

3. License

Subject to your compliance with these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App for your personal, non-commercial use.

4. Payments

4.1 One-Time Purchase

Soundwise is available as a one-time purchase. You will be charged a single fee at the time of purchase, which grants you lifetime access to the App's features. There are no recurring subscription fees.

4.2 Refunds

Refunds are handled according to the App Store or Google Play refund policies. We do not directly process refunds.

5. User Conduct

You agree not to:

• Use the App for any illegal purpose
• Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
• Remove, alter, or obscure any proprietary notices in the App
• Use the App in any way that could damage, disable, or impair our services
• Share your subscription with others or use it on more devices than permitted

6. Intellectual Property

All content in the App, including but not limited to text, graphics, audio, software, and other materials, is owned by us or our licensors and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE APP WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR FREE OF VIRUSES OR OTHER HARMFUL COMPONENTS.

8. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES, WHETHER INCURRED DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES.

9. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Terms in the App and updating the "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the App after such changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.

10. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your access to the App immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason, including if you breach these Terms.
